Wax on Wax off

I've been slacking on my posting- mostly because I have a bad attitude and I am hoping it will soon subside but in the meantime I wanted to say congratulations to my little purple belt ninja! I'm so proud of how very serious he is about his karate- he does push ups every day and even has these little muscle in his little biceps! I had to work and miss this so I sent my dad with our camera (apparently I am not the only one who struggles with Henry's fancy schmancy camera)

Better late than never...

I feel like I'm catching up on all of my holiday joy. My presents are almost all wrapped!! Here are a few of our Christmas tree and one of the best little gift under the tree... my chubby baby Molly!

Also in my attempts at not hating Christmas this year Max, Cody and I made cupcakes (they were cuter in person. I swear)We got the ideahere I still heart Martha. Then we (I) spent way too long making homemade marshmallows for hot cocoa. They were gooey and delish though. I recommend them. Painting the town...

I think I may be getting into the Christmas spirit....Thursday night my cute hubby got Jazz tickets for my Dad and Max and ballet tickets for us! He may be quoted as saying "I gave up 5th row Jazz tickets for 4th row ballet tickets?!!" We really had a great time although I came to find out I am not the mature one in this relationship. I'm not really proud of it but.. there was a male dancer.. and the rear view... you know how the harder you try not to laugh... traumatizing. After the ballet we went to Cucina Tuscana for a late dinner. Pretty great night.

Sunday brunch and Family Pics

On Sunday we decided to get some brunch with my mom and her wonderful husband and do some family pictures for our Christmas cards. Max breaks my heart! He looks so old! I know I am not a fair judge but he just may be the cutest little boy in America!

You know when your around a couple and you just know they are just meant for each other? Katie and Steven are just that kind of couple. I'm so happy that found each other and totally elated that they are getting married! Henry and I love you both! Congratulations!

Copycat

I am obsessed with Gossip Girl- well I was anyway. Season one was so greasy! And the clothes!!!! But something has been missing this season that je ne sais quo but I did snag this Alice + Olivia frock that Blair was wearing last week and there may be a Burberry Warrior bag waiting to be opened Christmas morning. I do have high hopes for tonight's episode (I'm waiting until everyone's asleep to watch). Anyway I just wanted to put it out there that I'm totally a Gossip Girl copy cat. oxox

It's beginning to look a lot....okay only a little like Christmas

So I started strong in my Christmas decorating and have just fallen a little short. I can't seem to find the motivation to put up my actual tree. I know I need to do it soon before the "bah humbug" in me takes over and poor little Maxwell gets no kind of holiday cheer!

Here are a few of our early morning (okay it was 10 am) football game on Thanksgiving! It was a great time! I sat on the side lines with Brighton and Mike's very cute baby Asher and took photos but I don't really know how to use Henry's fancy schmancy camera so the color didn't really turn out

6 months Mister

As of today I have been a "Mrs" for 6 months. My wonderful Husband has celebrated our "anniversary" every month since we've been married! I know it's super nerdy but I just wanted to say how lucky I am and tell him how much I love him! There just isn't another person in this world for me! Now I promise I won't make a habit of declaring my love for my Mister so don't stop reading my blog...

Wils Wedding

Here are a few from Wil and Alicia's wedding. It was a great time! Max did his thang on the dance floor... again. Henry was best man (hence the late nineties boyz to men get up) and I may or may not have had too many mudslides with Amanda ( no I'm not a nineteen year old nor did I follow them up with a few wine coolers). Great time overall!

So still being a little shy about typing up my thoughts for all to read (assuming anybody reads this) I thought a good start would be to blog about Max. Mostly Max on my wedding day. He was the cutest & sweetest little boy I have ever seen! He danced all night! He was sweating and red faced but still never sat even one dance out! I love him so much.

So okay I guess I'm going to get on board and start blogging. I do want to say that I'm a little nervy and a little embarassed that I used a wedding photo as my profile picture. But the lovely and talented Amy Furstenau did such a beautiful job on them that I just couldn't help myself.
