Red butte gardens

Today we went to Red Butte gardens with Brighton and her very sweet baby boy Asher. It was actually really fun- there we wild baby bunnies everywhere!! When Henry suggested it I kind of rolled my eyes but we had such a nice time we even bought a membership. In my head we are going to have countless picnics there this summer but we will probably be too lazy. These pictures also prove that 1.) boyfriend jeans are NOT flattering unless you are Blake Lively and 2.) flats make you appear 4 ft tall and 300 lbs drawing me to the conclusion that things that are comfy are never cute :( its a harsh truth

I can't believe it's been a year!!!

It's been a year since my bachlorette party! I don't have a lot of photo's but here are a few- we had so much fun! I'm really lucky to have friends that went all out for it! Looking back I just really appreciate all of the planning that went into that weekend!

Lindsey and Kevin's wedding

We have been so lucky lately, so many wonderful things are happening to our friends and family and we are so happy we have been able to be a part of our friends weddings, showers, and birthdays! It has been such an exciting time! Lindsey and Kevin are a great couple and had their wedding this past Saturday before Kevin starts his journey in the Air Force on Tuesday! The bride looked lovely and we had a great time!

Amber/Max/Mommy fun day

I've been so bad at posting but I did want to post my day last week with my mommy and Max. The 3 of us don't get together as much as I would like but we did have such a great day. I was even able to convince Max to spend the weekend at home with me (he usually prefers to spend it with his Grandparents!) We had lunch at the beehive tea room which is so charming, went shopping, and then to the cupcake bakery. I feel really lucky to have the relationship I do with my Mom and also for the one I have with Max. Not at all traditional but very honest in both cases. Salt Lake is such a great city- I love those days when you get to just wander around to see what it has to offer.

Katie and Stevan's wedding

Last night my little Katie got married! We had so much fun! Katie looked amazing (that dress!!!) It was also so great to meet Stevan's friends and family- they were wonderful! Katie and Stevan are just one of those couples that are just so right for each other! It was a really small wedding and I'm so glad we got to be a part of their day!
